With a proven track record of success, He has spearheaded initiatives at renowned organisations including ETA Foods, Hertz Rent-A-Car International, Mobil Quix Convenience Stores, Legal & General Life Insurance, The Salvation Army – Property & Salvos Stores, and Colliers Jardine Real Estate practice.

As the Principal and founder of Chifley Global Group in 2003.

In 2014 he foundered the Brooklyn Institute Pty Ltd – now the holding company for the Chifley Global Group.

Throughout his professional journey, Ken has wielding his expertise to drive positive change. He served where his strategic insights played a pivotal role in shaping policies and initiatives.

Ken continues to shape executive careers and drive growth with his unparalleled expertise, wisdom and strategic insight in selecting the best talent to drive organisations forward.

Ken is a Christian serving at St Mark’s Anglican Church Darling Point, a member of the Anglican Synod Diocese of Sydney and a Rotarian since 1995.

Dr Ian Walker has been the Head of Toad Hall since 2010, including 4 years also as Head of Ursula Hall. Ian has led engagement with the academic community to achieve excellent student experience for residents and create a living community that models our university's values.

As a professional staff member he has played a key role in the transition of many from school to University or from a range of professional positions across the globe to enter graduate programs at ANU. Ian has given support across disciplines, as well as across cultures and varied backgrounds, to students in their approaches to learning, their course commitments, and their academic results.

Ian’s passion for the university and academic quality can be seen in his leadership across the halls of residence and the engagement with all colleges and schools, such as in the conduct of a 'Deans@Toad' series, research presentation evenings, academic mentoring programs, and a Graduate Leadership Forum.

Dr Walker seeks to represent all professional staff by bringing a passion for education and an understanding of the challenge of creating a collegiate approach between academic and professional staff to engage with and progress education to be of the highest quality in Australia's only national university.
